Energy (r)evolution

To find solutions that decrease our dependency on limited energy sources is not an alternative, it is a necessity. In the last few years the true perception of the problem has increased, helped relentlessly by the geometric increase of energy costs and environmental issues, and there has been a real energy revolution which involves pretty much everybody out there. This has become known as the energy (r)evolution.

The situation of the world ´s economy and the forecasts for the short and medium term indicate a strong increase of energy consumption in all its varieties. This increase, being logical and inevitable, has recently raised very important inefficiencies that are reflected in the economies of developed and non-developed nations.

The impact on the evolution of economic and inflationary increases of variables such as: Crude oil prices, electricity, etc., as well as contaminant emissions and supply problems, among others, place these parameters as the key ones that any economy (government) would like to have under control.

On this same line, for the last few decades there has been an important effort to compensate or balance the production of energy from limited energy sources and from renewable energies. Governments, businesses and consumers are the main players who will be able to accelerate this process, driven mainly by technology.

It is unquestionnable that consumers, i.e. "everyone", take an active part in this process; and even though most of us have a social conscience of the problem, we have to take into account our own reality in which factors such as disposable income, conditions of access to a home, workplace and even the very city we live in make it impossible to chose between one "energy" option or another.

In this understandable real situation, can we do more?. How?

In 2004 we decided to establish GOOD FOR YOU GOOD FOR THE PLANET because we were convinced that, as a result of our efforts in research, we could invent products that could make it easier for consumers worldwide to save energy. Products that are good for the people and good for the planet.

In 2008, after 4 years analyzing our way of life, after 4 years trying to foresee future trends, after 4 years in which we have opened numerous research and development lines with our research institutions and centers, after 4 years of applying for patents for our inventions, after a significant personal effort, we are proud of the results achieved and we are once again confident that the effort of commercializing our products will be able to reach our society and that it will be easier for citizens around the world to take part in this energy (r) evolution.
