Innovation economy

GOOD FOR YOU GOOD FOR THE PLANET is a company that was established in Madrid, Spain, in the year 2004, by the brother and sister team Jorge and Silvia García Alonso, José Angel Zabalegui and Jesús Bartolomé, entrepreneurs with ample professional experience in the innovation world. The company has been funded by the founding Partners and a group of close advisors who have already taken part of prior business endevours. In addition, the Spanish National Company for Innovation (ENISA) joined the investment effort in the year 2006.

Our company applies innovation economy principles within the field of energy efficiency. We analize the way in which we consume energy and we look for ways of making it more efficient (energy efficiency). We look for formulas that allow maintaining the level of well being and satisfaction demanded by the modern society and, at the same time, that are compatible with the sustainability of life in the planet.

When we identify habits or trends that may allow for the possibility of energy savings, we open a research and development line (a project of R+D+i, Research + Development + innovation), working as a team with some of our technological partners and with our own R+D and technology department which will lead, in some of the cases, to an invention, a real innovation for which nobody had found a solution until now. We then request the industrial protection for the invention, so that, once granted, we may profit from the effort and investment undertaken, and we proceed to study the most efficient way of introducing it into society and making it something tangible (this process is currently known as "mega-innovation").

The aim of our inventions to make it easier for people to change their lifestyle, towards the new world energy system that is currently emerging, through affordable products of easy use aimed at the market worldwide. These products may be manufactured and sold directly by us or we may look for business partners if the scope of our invention should require it.
